What is a Medicare Care Plan?
An Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) is a plan on the Medicare Benefits Schedule where GPs are able to plan treatment for patients who suffer from a chronic or terminal medical condition with other medical providers such as Physiotherapists.
EPC allows for a total of up to 5x Medicare rebated consults in a calendar year. Renew each calendar year with your General Practitioner. Medicare covers a portion of the consultation via your Medicare card number and you are charged the ‘gap’ fee to Private Consultation.
Please speak to your Physiotherapist or GP to determine if you will qualify for an EPC.
- Please Note that you are required to pay the full fees for the physiotherapy consultation and then Medicare Rebate will be processed for you when you present your debit card.

What is a NDIS?
The NDIS also connects anyone with disability to services in their community.
This includes connections to doctors, community groups, sporting clubs, support groups, libraries and schools, as well as providing information about what support is provided by each state and territory government.
The NDIS now supports over 500,000 Australians with disability to access the services and supports they need.
This includes supporting approximately 80,000 children with developmental delay, ensuring they receive supports early so that they achieve the best outcomes throughout their lives.
There are three options to manage your NDIS funding - self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed.
The NDIA provides you with funding so you can access the supports that will best help you pursue your goals.
Plan-managed funding
The NDIA will provide funding in your plan to pay for a Plan Manager who pays your providers for you, helps you keep track of funds and takes care of financial reporting for you.
NDIA-managed funding
The NDIA pays your providers on your behalf.
