Frequently asked questions
For claim-specific advice, contact your WorkSafe agent or insurer. Reception can only explain our clinic process.
Email receptionFor an accepted Victorian WorkCover claim, WorkSafe states that initial physiotherapy does not require prior WorkSafe approval or a medical referral. Other requirements may apply to particular services or later care.
No guarantee can be made. Payment depends on the accepted injury, WorkSafe rules, reasonable-cost limits, clinical justification and any applicable approval. Confirm the clinic’s billing arrangement before treatment.
Communication may be required for care or claim administration. We explain the purpose and share only information that is authorised, reasonably necessary or legally required.
This cannot be decided safely before assessment. Appointment frequency and duration are reviewed against function, progress, goals, claim requirements and applicable funding rules.
You may still discuss private physiotherapy, but you may need to pay the private fee. Physio Cure cannot promise that an employer, insurer or WorkSafe agent will reimburse it later.
