What is a Medicare Care Plan?
An Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan, part of the Medicare Benefits Schedule, allows General Practitioners (GPs) to coordinate treatment for patients with chronic or terminal medical conditions in collaboration with other healthcare providers, such as Physiotherapists.
Under the EPC plan, patients are eligible for up to 5 Medicare-rebated consultations per calendar year, which can be renewed annually with your GP.
Please note: Patients are required to pay their usual full private fees for physiotherapy consultations. Medicare will then process the rebate and deposit it directly into your nominated account, when you present your debit card.
For more information or to find out if you qualify for an EPC plan, please speak with your Physiotherapist or GP.

What is a NDIS?
The NDIS also connects anyone with disability to services in their community.
This includes connections to doctors, community groups, sporting clubs, support groups, libraries and schools, as well as providing information about what support is provided by each state and territory government.
The NDIS now supports over 500,000 Australians with disability to access the services and supports they need.
This includes supporting approximately 80,000 children with developmental delay, ensuring they receive supports early so that they achieve the best outcomes throughout their lives.
There are three options to manage your NDIS funding - self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed.
The NDIA provides you with funding so you can access the supports that will best help you pursue your goals.
Plan-managed funding
The NDIA will provide funding in your plan to pay for a Plan Manager who pays your providers for you, helps you keep track of funds and takes care of financial reporting for you.
NDIA-managed funding
The NDIA pays your providers on your behalf.
